This living-dining area features pictures of the grandfather who is an esteemed former general and Ladakhi hero and the daughter, an aspiring nun. But most importantly, the husband of the owner and has personally crafted all wooden items covering this room. Being an experienced carpenter, the ceiling, beams, walls, tables and carvings all feature meticulous traditional patterns. They perfectly compliment the outside view of idyllic fields, creating a sense of wonder and tranquillity.
